Hosted in the heart of the biking area of “black wood” (more than 1069 km of tracks), you can enjoy these 42 courses spread over 18 towns bordering the Allier, Loire and Puy de Dome Counties.
The Mountainbiking Area has been studied so that everyone can have fun according to his physical potential.

Sledge
Depending on the snow, you will have the opportunity to take a sledge ride from home or 30 minutes away, where you can have free access to a toboggan run 150 m long.
Skiing – Snowboarding
Located 30 minutes from the house, Chalmazel, tourist mountain resort welcomes you every Christmas season to late April. The ski area extends from 1130-1640 m above sea level and offers 12 km of slopes for all levels. The resort is equipped with lifts last generation and an efficient system of artificial snow.
The resort also offers a “snow park”. This area was designed to accommodate skiers and snowboarders thrills. The slopes: ski school, equipment rental, restaurant.

Horse riding
We are pleased to welcome riders and offer them an ideal location for their horses.
For those wishing to discover the pleasures of riding or enjoy their stay to explore this beautiful region on horseback, we recommend our horse riding packages.
Ballooning
We invite you to discover the region, up there in the sky at sunrise …
Program: explanation of the weather balloon launch, flight at an altitude between 50 and 300 meters (depending on the season and visibility).

Cross Country Skiing
Less than 30 minutes from home, 21 km of slopes for all levels, well marked will allow you to learn or practice your favorite sports safely, in an exceptional environment.
Don’t be surprised to come across traces of deer, wild boar, and you will find yourself in a unique atmosphere surrounded by nature, woods, fir and beech.

Fishing
The fish population of Aix and Isable (2km from home) :
The Aix (1st category) has medium trout densities at high and its main tributaries. Also note the presence of the pearl mussel on Boen and Font d’Aix, proof that the waters have kept a very good physicochemical quality. At St Germain Laval, the stand is composed of trout and grayling but there are also plenty of chub, gudgeon and minnows. Downstream of St Germain Laval, in the plain, the settlement consists mainly of white fish whitewater (chub, gudgeon, minnows, dace and spirlins) and predators (pike, zander and perch), particularly near the confluence with the Loire River. The fish population of Isable is essentially dominated by trout.
Snowshoes
The snowshoeing is popular in our mountains. No need to go to Alaska or northern Canada, less than 30 minutes from home is sufficient to play Trapper snowshoe strolling through the woods in the fresh snow.
No need to learn if you can walk, there is about 30 seconds to set the snowshoe to your size and go!
Trekking
Welcome to “Pays d’Urfé” where, on well marked paths, 10 villages have joined forces to offer you a variety of 30 tours for all levels.
You will discover our wheat swaying in the sun, our meadows where cows and sheep graze, our forests so relaxing, our rivers and our shimmering water trout streams.
